Just For Fun

Here are two brothers who give continuing education courses and have private general dentistry practices.  I saw them in Nashville last February.  This is a really funny and well done, albeit a little bit of a downer, version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.  Enjoy.  The Madow brothers:

    Hi there,

I was wondering....My 10yr old son went to the denist yesterday (Friday)
and went to eat food that he has had before. After arriving home he thought he had many mosquito bites.
I thought nothing of it. Then about 3hrs later he had his shirt off and said he had iching and as it turns out he had hives all over even on his face and his eyes were swollen just a bit. I gave him benadrl and will check him when he gets up this morning. Not sure wheather I will take him to the doctors or just give him more benadrl.
I will now be afraid to have his cavities filled now. Should I get an epi-pen?

    Thanks,
    Worried Momma

  5. Consulting a physician in cases like that is not a bad idea. Hives, rash, itching are symptoms of an allergic reaction, perhaps to gloves (latex allergy) or just a food allergy coincident with his appointment. Hard to say. Sometimes allergy testing is useful to know for sure. Any reaction that is severe should be immediately addressed, perhaps in the emergency room if anaphylaxis is feared.

  8. This was awesome! I love the original song, and I love this parody about dentists. Seriously, it was great. I wish all dentists would do something fun and creative like this. I bet it would help business. That, and they would gain the cool factor with their younger patients. Maybe kids would be less scared to go to their appointments.
